Transition to New Library Search
From mid-March we will start the transition to our new library system.
This will take approximately one week and will mean a migration of library accounts and user data from the existing system to the new. We aim to keep all our services running, but there will be some interruption to services during the transition.
What this means for you:
During the transition, we will continue to offer borrowing of print materials during staffed hours only, at the Welcome Desks. Library Search may not display real time updates, and if you are struggling to find any item then please ask us at any enquiry point. Laptop loans will be unavailable during this time, and we apologise for any disruption this will cause. Requesting items to be moved between sites will also be paused.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to register new users during this period.
Support
Library staff will be available to offer advice and support during the transition, and we will continue to provide updates and more information on our website.
