What did you enjoy most about your course and time at university?
My favourite aspect of studying the MSc Business Analytics was the programme’s strong focus on real-world business challenges. The combination of data analysis, business strategy, and practical projects made the learning experience both engaging and highly relevant.
In addition, spending time by the canal-side on campus was one of the most enjoyable parts of my university experience. This setting was particularly inspiring during group projects, where collaborating with students from diverse cultural and international backgrounds made teamwork more dynamic, insightful, and rewarding.
What surprised you the most about business analytics?
I was surprised by how important business data analytics has become across a wide range of industries, and how its role continues to grow.
It became increasingly clear to me that, even as AI develops at a rapid pace, the real value of analytics lies in turning data into meaningful insights and using those insights to support human judgement, rather than replace it. This highlighted the long-term relevance and real-world impact of business data analytics.
What are your plans after graduating?
I plan to continue developing my career in business and data analytics, with a strong interest in roles within large, technology-driven and consulting-focused organisations. I am keen to work on complex, high-impact business challenges, and I hope that graduating from Queen Mary University of London will support these goals as I take the next steps in my career.
