School of Business and Management Welcomes January Start Postgraduate Students
In January, the School of Business and Management was delighted to welcome over 100 new postgraduate students as part of our January start programmes.
We were pleased to greet students joining the following courses: MSc Management, MSc Management with Integrated Pre-Masters, MSc Marketing and MSc Marketing with Integrated Pre-Masters.
To mark the start of their academic journey, students took part in a vibrant and engaging Welcome Week, designed to help them settle into university life, connect with peers, and gain early insight into their chosen fields.
The week included a mix of academic, social, and professional activities designed to help students settle in. Highlights included a Postgraduate Welcome Social where students met classmates and began building their networks, a London City Finance Tour offering real-world insight into the UK’s financial hub, and the Silicon Roundabout Tech Tour showcasing London’s technology and start-up scene. Students also took part in Meet Your Advisors sessions for academic guidance and support, alongside a Welcome Breakfast that provided a relaxed and friendly start to the week.
Welcome Week provided an excellent opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with the School, explore London, and feel part of the School of Business and Management community from day one.
“Welcome Week is all about helping our January start students feel confident, connected, and supported from the very beginning. We wanted to deliver a programme of activities that not only introduced students to their courses, but also helped them build friendships, explore London, and feel part of the School of Business and Management community.” – Salman Uddin, Student Experience Manager at the School of Business and Management
We look forward to supporting our January start students throughout their studies and wish them every success in the months ahead.
