Paris Induction January Opening event 2026
On Monday, 19 January 2026, we had the immense pleasure of welcoming our new Paris LLM cohort with a dedicated opening event held at our premises in Paris.
The evening featured an engaging interview-style discussion with our guest speakers Mrs Larisa Babiy (Head of Strategic Litigation and Arbitration, Renault Group), and Mrs Samia Gambier (International Legal Negotiator, Total Enterprises), both experienced in-house lawyers at major international firms.
The conversation, expertly facilitated by Dr Maria Fanou, explored the realities of working within an organisation, offering candid reflections on the evolving role of in-house counsel, the strategic dimension of their advisory function, and the professional pathways that shape a successful career in this field.
The discussion prompted thoughtful and wide-ranging questions from a diverse audience of incoming and current students, as well as legal professionals, who gained valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities, challenges, and rewards of in-house practice. The lively exchange continued during the informal drinks’ reception, creating a vibrant and inspiring start to our students’ LLM experience in Paris.
