Industry Leaders share insights with Queen Mary students at the Employer’s Address 2025

Held on the Mile End campus and featuring a dynamic lineup of industry leaders, this year’s event offered a platform for conversations about the rapidly evolving world of work. The evening spotlighted the importance of innovation, inclusion and collaboration between employers and emerging talent.

This year’s speakers included:

• Jane Hollinshead, Chief People Officer at Canary Wharf Group Plc, who highlighted the role young professionals can play in shaping future environmental, social, and governance priorities.
• Robbie White, Partner & Innovation Lead at Forvis Mazars UK, who discussed how digital transformation and AI are reshaping opportunities.
• Kimberly Ofrecio, Group Commercial Director at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, who shared reflections from her cross-sector career and emphasised the value of adaptability and leadership.

Each speaker offered practical advice for students preparing to enter the job market, while also reflecting on qualities that employers increasingly value.
