Why study online?
Earn a Queen Mary University of London, Russell-Group degree - wherever you are in the world. Our flexible online programmes are ideal if you can’t relocate to London or need to balance your studies with a demanding career or personal commitments.
Through our dedicated online learning platform, you’ll engage with world-class academics, take part in interactive seminars, and collaborate with a global network of peers, all while enjoying full access to Queen Mary and the University of London digital library resources.
You’ll study the same modules, taught by the same expert faculty, as our on-campus students. The academic standards are identical, and your final degree certificate makes no mention of “distance learning” - reflecting the equal value and prestige of your qualification.
Our programmes blend flexibility with meaningful interaction, offering live sessions and real-time discussions that mirror the on-campus experience.
Choose from September, May, or January term intakes, and study part-time across two years (six semesters) in either MA International Relations or MSc International Public Policy.
The distance learning format appealed to my work/life balance. It was very beneficial to continue to work and apply what I was learning in the international media context in which I work, and the ability to study during the hours that suit me made this work.— Keith Parsons, MA International Relations
