CCLS 45th Anniversary

This year, we are marking a special milestone for Queen Mary’s Centre of Commercial Law Studies as we celebrate 45 years of excellence in legal education.

A teal heptagon with the QMUL logo, CCLS name and the number 45 in gold.Since opening our doors in 1980, we have been at the forefront of nurturing talented legal minds, drawing students from across London, the UK and beyond, while also pushing the boundaries of teaching and research in the legal sector.

To commemorate this special milestone and reflect on a legacy that spans over four decades, we are organising a range of events and initiatives throughout the academic year.

CCLS 45th Anniversary Celebration

To mark our 45th year, we hosted a special event featuring a keynote speech by Sir Geoffrey Vos and a series of special seminars looking at recent developments in commercial law. This was followed by a drinks and canapé reception.
