"I chose London because it’s home to a global financial hub, and I knew there’d be
opportunities for internship experience. But what really stood out about Queen Mary was the real-world application of my course. In modules like Asset Pricing, we look at Google and British Airways stocks and try to diversify those stocks in the portfolio. You don’t necessarily get that experience elsewhere.
You get the sense that Queen Mary is different from its campus alone. It feels like a diverse and close-knit community, with everyone being together. And I feel like I fit in well with that community.
The diverse nature of the campus is very special. It feels like a close-knit community with everyone together. And I feel like I fit in well into that community.
There’s a real sense of embracing individuality here, using that to make an impact and provide an environment where students can thrive. Queen Mary encourages you to bring a unique perspective to life and I'm trying to bring this into all aspects of my life as well. So don’t be anxious about starting here, the community is very supportive and there are so many people here to help you to settle in.”
