“Queen Mary was an easy choice because I wanted to experience life in a fast-paced city as an international student, but also somewhere that’s diverse and supportive. I've never felt like I belong in any other place more than I do at Queen Mary, which isn’t the case everywhere.
Supportiveness is a huge part of what makes Queen Mary so special. It was a stand-out feature on my course. Even when something felt impossible, the guidance, reassurance and resources get you where you need to be. I moved over to the UK during COVID and that was really hard at times, but without my School, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Queen Mary has helped me gain many different skills that play to my strengths, build my confidence and set me apart. I had early exposure to working with different stakeholders in different environments during my second year, taking on different
roles and adapting quickly.

planned. Despite challenges, I never gave up and kept moving forward. And Queen Mary helped me so much with that."
