Events on Maksymilian Del Mar’s book on Neil MacCormick

Maksymilian Del Mar, Professor of Legal Theory and Legal Humanities, will be speaking about his recent book on Neil MacCormick in two fora.

The first will be on 3 March, at the London School of Economics and the Legal Biography Project, where Nicola Lacey and Martin Loughlin will comment. The second will be on 26 March, at the School of Law, University of Glasgow, where he will discuss the book with members of the Legal Theory Research Group.

Professor Del Mar’s book is the result of many years of research, including funding from the British Academy, the Leverhulme Trust, and the Royal Society of Edinburgh. It has been the subject of a review symposium in the Edinburgh Law Review, and various reviews, including in the journal Society. Neil MacCormick was one of the twentieth century’s most important legal and political thinkers, and continues to be influential, including being quoted in contemporary politics.
